A storyteller, filmmaker, producer, and creative director at Minor Act
Rotha spearheads the development of the “Unexpected Song” project–an episodic series that depicts the works and struggles of young and marginalized artists in Cambodia–from script writing and interviewing to the editing process.
In 2022, she led the development of a live multi-media circus performance for a half-million-dollar-emergency foundation-raising program for one of the most respected social arts organizations in the country—Phare Ponleu Selpak.
In 2021, she produced and directed “My Body” music video that aims to empower women to raise their voices and normalize discussion about the sensitive topic of gender-based violence as part of the United Nation’s 16-day campaign.
Rotha deeply believes in the power of film and storytelling to connect people and tackle social issues.
